How do you go about getting permission to dig?
Hawk
The 2 casque's that were found were buried in parks.
So I guess I’m asking those that have acquired permission to dig in parks what is the process they went through to acquire permission.
Did they require permits?, Were they rejected? etc

Each location has it's own requirements. Do you have a city in mind?

You also need to be extremely certain of your dig spot. Some places are now considering charging large amounts of money per dig. Be sure. Check off all the boxes - meaning every little thing in the verse.
Good luck
